However, it wasn't until belated 1989 that they actually started composition together -- a reunion that yielded more than a twelve songs for a proposed Finn Brothers side contrive. That record album was scrapped and most of the material was absorbed by Crowded House's Woodface (1991) and Unitedly Alone (1993), as well as Tim's 1993 solo album, Ahead & After. The brothers' fancy resumed in late 1994, and in four weeks, they completed an record album called simply Finn. The record album, released in the fall of 1995 (the summertime of 1996 in the U.S.), showed a practically more casual side of the Finns and was less pop-oriented than their previous melodious collaborations -- the brothers encounter about all of the instruments themselves, ranging from the crude to the exotic. After initial pressings of Finn, the duet changed their appoint to the Finn Brothers to empty confusion with a banding loss under a interchangeable appoint. Battles is a little Joe comprised of drummer John Stanier of Helmet and Tomahawk, guitarist/keyboardist Ian Williams of Don Caballero and Storm & Stress, guitarist David Konopka of Lynx, and avant solo player Tyondai Braxton. All members bestow their honed-in angulate math skills of past glory to Battles. The Tras and EP C EPs were both released in June 2004 on Cold Sweat and Monitor respectively. The B EP followed on Dim Mak in September 2004. The Atlas EP followed in early 2007, followed in move around by the band's proper full-length debut, Mirrored, in May 2007.
